Jam news. Jams we (me and Chris probably) will be mostly attending soon are the Monkmore Jam on the 8th of September and the Hanley (Stoke-on-trent) Jam on the 2nd of Sept.
Monkmore Skatepark park is on the out-skirts of Shrewsbury in a sports area type thing with football, tennis etc. also in the visinity. The park itself is built on a tiny area but has SO many jumps crammed it its untrue, it boasts a vert, mini, spine, quarters, bowled corner bits, roll-ins a drive way thing and more. Its just been slighty redesigned and totaly resurfaced. Skatebard is on saturday the 8th of Sept. and BMX on the Sunday. There is a big party on the Saturday night too and check out their new vid. 'Showlin Monkmore', review soon...
Hanley skatepark is more street style and newer, the jam on the 2nd of Sept is part of a local festival. look out fo hip-hop djs ands Sabeth tribute bands as well as local rippers and some TBC. team riders.
On the subject of Stoke I'm starting at Staffordshire Uni in late September so will be skating that whole area alot in he future, drop me an e-mail if you're local.

Disclamer: Im not skate board expert as such but I only write about tricks I can pull. I feel I am good enough and have read enough of these type of articals to be able to pass on some sound advice to new comers to the sport who oftern need lots of help learning and can feel a little over-welmed. If you hurt your self learning these tricks its not my falt and if you didn't wanna get hurt skateboarding probably isn't realy up your street.
